Pointing at the moon predates Lee of course; it's a metaphor back to the
earliest days of Zen, if not earlier.

But 'new media' as a movement? I may be missing something here - I don't
see that so much as collocations of individual artists and groupuscles
which are constantly changing - something along the lines of
Wittgenstein's language games.

On the other hand, there isn't an artworld, but artworlds, and it may be
true in some of them -
